Founding Offer Terms
Founding Pro — Ilford & Redbridge 2026 · Version 1.1 · Effective 28 August 2026
1. The offer
The Founding Pro offer (the Offer) is a business-to-business commercial offer from RelayLocal. It provides 12 calendar months of the standard current RelayLocal Pro plan for a one-time payment of £199 GBP, including any applicable taxes shown at checkout. The Founding offer changes the introductory commercial terms, not the Pro product.
2. What Founding Pro includes
During the prepaid access period, the business receives the effective Pro entitlements shown on RelayLocal's current pricing page and enforced by the verified plan record. At this version, that includes the core Relay and Trust workflow, Growth capabilities, unlimited bookable services and customer bookings, and supported Stripe-hosted deposits/full customer payments to the connected service business. Product features can evolve in accordance with the platform terms, but RelayLocal will not describe Founding Pro as a separate lower-feature plan.
3. When access starts and ends
Pro access begins only when RelayLocal's systems confirm successful payment with Stripe and ends exactly 12 calendar months after that confirmation. The checkout confirmation, account and payment records provide the authoritative dates.
4. No automatic renewal from the £199 purchase
The £199 Founding purchase does not renew automatically. The payment card is not charged again from that one-time purchase without a separate future checkout.
5. Optional founding renewal
From 30 days before prepaid access expires, the active business owner may separately opt in to a founding renewal rate of £19/month GBP for a maximum of 24 paid monthly billing cycles. The renewal requires a new explicit checkout and successful payment. It never begins merely because a Stripe subscription object exists. After the 24th paid monthly cycle the promotional renewal is set to end. Unless the business selects another paid plan, it then returns to Relay.
6. Availability and the 50-place cap
The cohort is capped at 50 paid founding businesses. A successful non-refunded founding payment consumes a founding place. A live checkout reservation temporarily holds an available place for 30 minutes so concurrent buyers cannot silently oversell the cohort; an unpaid expired reservation releases that place. When all available places are paid or temporarily reserved, new checkout is blocked until a place becomes available. One founding redemption is permitted per business.
7. Eligibility and purchase authority
The Offer is for eligible local trade and service businesses operating in Ilford or the London Borough of Redbridge that are new to RelayLocal or effectively on the free Relay plan, and whose application is made by an authorised representative. Businesses with an effective paid Pro, Team or Network entitlement are not eligible. The final purchase can only be completed by the owner of the currently selected RelayLocal business. RelayLocal verifies the active business again at checkout and will stop the purchase if the business context changed or the application is already linked to another business.
8. Applications, review and waitlist
Applying does not reserve a place and no payment is taken at application. Straightforward eligible applications may be auto-approved; others may enter manual review, be declined or be waitlisted. Duplicate, ineligible or misleading signals may require human review. A declined applicant may use the supported appeal path where offered, but an appeal does not guarantee approval or a place.
9. No guarantees and no paid-lead promise
RelayLocal provides software workflows for Relay, Growth, Bookings and controlled organisation work routing. RelayLocal does not guarantee enquiries, bookings, work, revenue, customers, service quality, contractor suitability, payment outcomes or commercial results. Circle membership and Demand Partner contractor-pool membership are not RelayLocal vetting or endorsement. Demand Partner invitations and private Work Offers are not sold as Pro lead access.
10. Customer information and service responsibility
For ordinary Relay handovers, customer contact release follows the applicable Trust Pass permission workflow. Demand Partner uses a separate organisation-authority model and must not be represented as direct customer consent in every case. A business using RelayLocal Bookings remains the underlying service provider and, for supported direct customer payments, the merchant for that transaction.
11. Expiry and downgrade to Relay
If Founding Pro ends without a successful founding renewal or another paid plan, the business returns to the then-current Relay plan. Relay currently includes one effectively public active bookable service and up to 25 confirmed customer bookings per Europe/London calendar month, without new RelayLocal-hosted Stripe deposits/full customer payments. Capabilities above Relay limits pause rather than silently deleting records. Existing bookings, accepted booking-policy evidence, customer concerns, refunds, payment evidence, Circles, Relays, introductions and other retained history remain available subject to normal access and retention rules.
12. Refunds, disputes and restoration
Refunds and payment disputes are handled under the published platform terms and applicable law. A full refund or opened chargeback can remove Founding Pro access while preserving business records. If a dispute is later resolved in the business's favour, RelayLocal restores only the unused remainder of the original prepaid period where that period is still running; it does not create a fresh 12-month term. Partial refunds are recorded without automatically extending access.
13. Campaign pause or closure
RelayLocal may pause or close the campaign for new applications or purchases. A Paused campaign does not accept direct new applications. Access already paid for is honoured for its paid period unless it is lawfully refunded, charged back or otherwise ended under the applicable terms.
14. Platform terms still apply
The Founding Offer Terms add campaign-specific commercial terms. Use of RelayLocal remains subject to the published Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Subscription and Cancellation Policy and other applicable platform policies. If a current pricing limit or product capability is referenced here, the live pricing page and verified plan entitlement remain the operational source of truth for the current plan configuration.
These commercial offer terms are maintained by the RelayLocal owner and are not a substitute for independent legal advice. They sit alongside our current plan comparison, Terms of Service, Subscription & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy. Questions? Contact support.
