Demand Partner legal
Demand Partner Data-Sharing Explanation
A stage-by-stage explanation of information visibility in controlled work routing.
Product information only; applicable signed terms and RelayLocal’s general Terms of Service remain authoritative.
Request details
Privacy-safe operational details—such as service type, outward postcode or approximate area, urgency, timing, and job summary—may be used to assess suitability. They should not contain unnecessary customer identity information.
Customer identifying and contact information
Customer name, email, phone, full address, and contact notes are treated separately. The organisation confirms its authority and selects the fields authorised for release. Those fields are released through the controlled assignment flow, not published as a visible lead.
Contractor information
An organisation works within its approved contractor pool. Businesses receive only the information appropriate to their opportunity or assignment. The service is not designed to expose a public directory of every participating business or competing contractor identities.
Assignment information
Once a business accepts and an assignment is created, the organisation and assigned business can use the assignment information needed to coordinate the work. Contact access can be active, revoked, or expire according to the assignment state.
Authority is not the same as direct consent
The Demand Partner model records the organisation’s authority confirmation. It does not automatically claim that every request relies on direct customer consent. The organisation remains responsible for selecting an appropriate lawful basis and giving any required information to the customer.
A controlled sequence
A request can move from partner-only, to an offer stage, to an assigned-business stage. Different information becomes visible only when the product rules and authority confirmation allow it.
